We are excited to announce that we are planning tours to Cambodia in 2024

The next opportunity to join a World of Difference volunteering tourism experience will be in January 2024.

During the tour you will get to visit many of the projects that are being implemented throughout Cambodia by Australian Rotary Clubs.

The tour is open to Rotarians and non-Rotarians.

SKILLS TRANSFER TOURS

Expressions of interest are sought from people who are willing to spend time meeting Cambodian people’s request for targeted learning and development. This is the most temperate time to visit Cambodia with the temperatures mid to high 20’s and humidity at its lowest. We have specifically been requested to:

• assist with teaching skills to manage children with learning difficulties

• refresh their teacher methods to motivate and inspire them in the classroom

• provide hygiene and basic sanitation lessons for primary school children. This extends to toothbrushing and menstrual health

• review the water wells for leaks, repairs, systems and processes

• consider other NGO’s such as World Vision in these remote areas and provide collaborative relationships.

  This will be balanced with a cultural immersion and experience of Cambodia’s unique history and beauty.
